Terms and conditions
Once a treatment has been booked and a deposit paid, the contract exists between Mindful Touch Therapies (Lyn Barefoot) and you. Upon booking a treatment you agree to provide me with all necessary information concerning your health to enable me to ensure that I can provide a safe and effective treatment. If you have any medical conditions listed below, then you must have consent from your consultant or GP. It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions that you may have.
Cancer
Immunocompromised conditions
Hepatitis
Diabetes Type 1
Seizure Disorder
Blood clotting
Liver/kidney infection
Stroke
Skeletal disease
Cardiovascular disease
Epilepsy
Muscular disease/disorder
Recent scar tissue
Nervous disease/disorder
This list is not exhaustive and other conditions may also require a consultant/GP consent
If you have any of the conditions above, please email mindfultouchtherapies@outlook.com for a consent form which you can pass to your consultant/GP.
I retain the right to refuse treatment , should consultant/GP consent not be provided when necessary, or if I think that the treatment may not be suitable for you.
Cancellation
Deposits are taken to secure an appointment. The deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled by the client within 48 hours. If the appointment is cancelled outside 48 hours, the deposit will be transferred to another appointment.
If an appointment has been cancelled by Lyn an alternative appointment will be offered. If this is unacceptable then the payment will be refunded.
Abusive behaviour or language, racism or discrimination against minority groups will not be tolerated and I reserve the right to refuse treatment and ask you to leave the premises.
